Online Classroom Review Period

The term officially begins on a Wednesday; however, you can take advantage of the online classroom preview period to get acquainted with the content of your course. The preview period allows you to explore your course prior to the official term start. It is recommended that you do the following:

  • Read all of the Course Announcements.
  • Review the content under Table of Contentsin the upper left-hand corner, such as:
    • Syllabus, where you can read about the description, materials, and outcomes for the course and more.
    • Course Resources, where you can find important course documents, including grading rubrics.
    • Academic Tools, where you can access the Library, the Academic Success Center, and other helpful resources.
  • Browse each unit to get a feel for unit navigation and see what topics will be covered. On the pages within each unit, you can see a unit overview, the unit’s reading, and more.
  • Select the menu options on the navigation bar below your class’s title and review tools such as Gradebook and Assignments. You will use these tools repeatedly throughout your class.
  • Begin reading for Unit 1.
